Abstract: This poster will illustrate the key aspects covered in the upcoming LHC EFT WG Note: SMEFT predictions, event reweighting, and simulation. Emphasizing the challenges associated with the generation of SMEFT predictions using the event reweighting technique, we illustrate the subtleties behind operators that introduce helicity configuration not allowed in the SM. Furthermore, we introduce a novel reweighting tool able to significantly reduce the computational time of SMEFT prediction generation. The poster focuses on processes from the top sector, serving as benchmarks to highlight these topics.
