Abstract: The PETRA IV project is set to enhance the current PETRAIII synchrotron into an ultra-low-emittance source. Thereduced emittance will impose stringent requirements onmachine stability and operation. In order to cope with theserequirements, bunch-by-bunch information is required fromsome monitor systems. For precise monitoring of beamposition and charge, the Libera Digit 500 instrument fromInstrumentation Technologies is tested as a readout electronicsfor BPMs at the existing machine PETRA III. This systemfeatures four channels with a 500 MHz sampling rate, synchronizedwith the accelerator’s RF, enabling observationof beam properties with a bunch-by-bunch resolution, thusfacilitating a more comprehensive understanding of beambehavior. This contribution provides an overview of the latestbeam measurements at the single bunch level, allowingobservation of beam oscillations and injection dynamics.
