Abstract: The VOLINT code calculates observables in pump-probe experiments where the dose deposited by the pump is spatially non-uniform, meaning different parts of the sample receive different doses. It combines the results of several uniform-dose simulations into a single volume-integrated signal expected at the detector. The sample is divided into radial zones, each of which is assumed to be small enough for the deposited dose to be uniform within it. Currently, the code is based on the assumption that the centres of the pump and probe coincide.
