Abstract: Results on the measurements of the hadronic final state in $\it e^{±}p$ collisions by the H1 and ZEUS experiments at HERA are presented. These are measurements on the production of prompt photons in photoproduction, inclusive jet, dijet and trijet production in deep-inelatic scattering and on the search for QCD instantons. The jet production data is employed for the extraction of the strong coupling constant $\it \alpha_{s}(M_{Z})$.
