Abstract: Phase transitions in the early Universe can lead to many potentially observable effects such as the generation of primordial magnetic seed fields, gravitational waves and baryon- and lepton number. They depend on yet not well known properties, such as the order of the phase transitions, that can be influenced by physics beyond the Standard Model.
