Abstract: In this work, we carry out ring-diagram calculations for $^4\text{He}$ using the chiral$\text{N}^3\text{LO}$ two-nucleon potential $V_{2N}$ with and without the inclusion of an in-medium three-nucleon(NNN) force $\bar V_{3N}$, derived from the leading-order chiral NNN force $V_{3N}$.
