Abstract: In this contribution I will review recent experimental results on the measurement of the top quark mass. I will also review recent proposals about new methods proposed for the extraction of the top quark mass. Finally I will comment on recent detailed studies of the theoretical uncertainties in measurements based on templates fitting.
