Report No.: ATL-PHYS-PUB-2013-011
Abstract: Supersymmetry is one of the best motivated and well-studied extensions of the Standard Model. The current searches at the LHC have yielded sensitivity to TeV scale gluinos and 1 st and 2 nd generation squarks, as well as to 3 rd generation squarks and electro-weakinos in the hundreds of \GeV\ mass range. The high-luminosity phase of the LHC will extend sensitivity well beyond the current limits. This document presents some example benchmark studies with a parameterised simulation of the ATLAS detector at a centre-of-mass energy of 14 TeV. In addition projections of results from 8 TeV based searches are discussed. Results are shown for integrated luminosities of 300 and 3000~fb −1 .
