Abstract: With advent of modern experimental techniques using light sources, the dynamics initiated by inner-shell processes such as, inner-shell ionization followed by Auger-decay, and their subsequent dynamics can be investigated in their fundamental timescales. Theoretical description supported by computational methods are needed to complement the experimental investigations [1]. Comparing the experimental and theoretical results are important to interpret the results from the experiments. In this thesis, theoretical and computational methods will be presented which demonstrates the ability to investigate field-induced processes in mono- and diatomic systems.
