femtosecond pulses, as used inchirped pulse amplification,
is a nontrivial task. In order to simplify this task a
portabletunable continuous-wave laser, with automated
wavelength tuning, was designed, constructedand automated.
This thesis aims to explain the construction and
automationof wavelength tuning, using Python, of this
