Abstract: A search is presented for physics non-resonant new phenomena in dielectron and dimuon final states, originating from large extra spatial dimensions. The LHC proton-proton collision dataset collected by the ATLAS detector between 2015 and 2018 is analyzed, corresponding to a total integrated luminosity of up to 139 fb^{-1} at p s = 13 TeV. The dilepton invariant mass spectrum is a discriminating variable. No significant deviations from the Standard Model expectation are observed. Lower limits are set on the string scale M_{S} between 6.6 TeV and 6.4 TeV at the 95 % credibility level for the electron and muon channel respectively in the GRW convention.
