Abstract: A cryogenic Yb:YAG composite-thin-disk laser driver has demonstrated long-termstable operation with 1-joule, ½-ns chirped pulse output at 500 Hz. Data will be presented. Theoutput pulses (FWHM 0.35nm) may be compressed to <5ps.
