Abstract: In this paper I discuss the impact of photon axion-mixing in the early Universe. Interaction of CMB photons with large scale cosmological magnetic fields can produce axions or other pseudoscalar particles. This process in the early Universe would distort the CMB spectrum and also create a measurable temperature anisotropy. New limits on axion mass and magnetic field strength are presented.
