Abstract: A search for a heavy MSSM Higgs boson is performed in the $\phi \rightarrow \tau\tau \rightarrow e\mu$ decay channel, using data corresponding to an integrated luminosity of $19.7$fb$^{-1}$ at a p-p center of mass energy of $8$TeV, collected by the CMS experiment at the Large Hadron Collider. The search is optimized for Higgs boson masses between $300$ and $1000$GeV and makes the use of Boosted Decision Trees for an improved selection of signal events. The results are consistent with the predictions of the Standard Model.
