520 _ _ |a The available amount of renewable energy sources (RES) such as wind and solar power undergoes daily and seasonal variations. To use theses sources in the best possible way, a corresponding modulation of the power requirement from the accelerator is beneficial. In the talk, some initial thoughts are presented about possible ways to modulate the ILC's power by changing between different operating modes and use energy buffers.
