Note: Die „India-DESY Collaboration“ zwischen dem Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advanced Scientific Research (JNCASR) in Bangalore, Indien, und DESY dient der wissenschaftlichen Zusammenarbeit beider Zentren im Bereich der Nano- und Materialforschung. Im Rahmen der Vereinbarung leistet auf indischer Seite das Department of Science and Technology (DST) einen finanziellen Beitrag zu den Bau- und Betriebskosten der Strahlführungen an PETRA III. Im Gegenzug erhalten indische Forschergruppen unter den vertraglichen Bedingungen Zugang zu den Messplätzen mit einem bestimmten Anteil der Messzeit inkl. Nutzerbetreuung.
