Abstract: Wire scanner measurements at the TTF of beam position and profile (“single” measurements) and betabeatand beam emittance (“group” measurements) will be presented. The intention is to show on one handthe wealth and complexity of the data (and the difficulties in quantifying errors in, for example, beamemittance) and on the other the ease in using the devices for on-line measurements of beam quality.PC-based tools will be used for this purpose.
