The standard DGLAP evolution was augmented by including an additional higher-twist term in the description of the longitudinal structure function, FL. This additional term, FLALHT/Q2, improves the description of the reduced cross sections significantly. The resulting predictions for FL suggest that further corrections are required for Q2 less than about 2 GeV2. %K DESY HERA Stor (INSPIRE) %K electron p: scattering (INSPIRE) %K DGLAP equation (INSPIRE) %K quantum chromodynamics: perturbation theory (INSPIRE) %K quantum chromodynamics: small-x (INSPIRE) %K momentum transfer: low (INSPIRE) %K structure function: longitudinal (INSPIRE) %F PUB:(DE-HGF)29 ; PUB:(DE-HGF)16 %9 ReportJournal Article %U <Go to ISI:>//WOS:000381603800002 %R 10.1103/PhysRevD.94.034032 %U https://bib-pubdb1.desy.de/record/310726
