                      experiments in the field of production of ultra-short
                      electron bunches and novel high gradient acceleration
                      technique. The SINBAD linac, also called ARES (Accelerator
                      Research experiment at SINBAD), will be a conventional
                      S-band linear RF accelerator allowing the production of low
