The relevant low-energy physics is encoded in Wilson lines along the directions of the energetic particles inside the jets. This multi-Wilson-line structure is present even for narrow-cone jets due to the relevance of small-angle soft radiation. We discuss the renormalization-group equations satisfied by these operators. Their solution resums all logarithmically enhanced contributions to such processes, including non-global logarithms. Such logarithms arise in many observables, in particular whenever hard phase-space constraints are imposed, and are not captured with standard resummation techniques. Our formalism provides the basis for higher-order logarithmic resummations of jet and other non-global observables. As a nontrivial consistency check, we use it to obtain explicit two-loop results for all logarithmically enhanced terms in cone-jet cross sections and verify those against numerical fixed-order computations.}, keywords = {resummation (autogen) / factorization (autogen) / effective field theory (autogen) / renormalization group (autogen) / higher-order (autogen) / small-angle (autogen) / phase space (autogen) / Wilson loop (autogen) / structure (autogen)}, cin = {T}, cid = {I:(DE-H253)T-20120731}, pnm = {611 - Fundamental Particles and Forces (POF3-611) / EFT4LHC - An Effective Field-Theory Assault on the Zeptometer Scale: Exploring the Origins of Flavour and Electroweak Symmetry Breaking (291144) / TA 867/1-1 - Precision Theory Predictions for Higgs and New-Physics Measurements at the LHC (209838826)}, pid = {G:(DE-HGF)POF3-611 / G:(EU-Grant)291144 / G:(GEPRIS)209838826}, experiment = {EXP:(DE-MLZ)NOSPEC-20140101}, typ = {PUB:(DE-HGF)25 / PUB:(DE-HGF)29}, eprint = {1605.02737}, howpublished = {arXiv:1605.02737}, archivePrefix = {arXiv}, SLACcitation = {$\%\%CITATION$ = $arXiv:1605.02737;\%\%$}, url = {https://bib-pubdb1.desy.de/record/299577}, }
