%X The bis(guanidine) ligand N<sup>1</sup>,N<sup>3</sup>‐bis[bis(2,2,6,6‐tetramethylpiperidin‐1‐yl)methylen]propan‐1,3‐diamine stabilizes the first bis(μ‐oxo)dicopper(III) complex (see figure) at room temperature. This complex is characterized in the ground state and in the optical excited state by a combination of EXAFS and resonance Raman spectroscopy
