%X The CRESST-II (Cryogenic Rare Event Search with Superconducting Thermometers) experiment aims for the direct detection of dark matter in form of WIMPs. Scintillating CaWO4 single crystals are used as target material. We present the results of a low-threshold analysis of one single detector module employing a crystal (m ∼ 250 g) grown at the Technische Universität München with an improved radiopurity and excellent properties of the phonon detector. With an exposure of 29 kg days new parameter space could be explored for WIMP masses below 3 GeV/c2. In addition, the high potential of CRESST in the low WIMP-mass regime will be shown in a projection employing detectors that are further improved in performance and radiopurity.
