EVAluation of Equivalent Vector Boson Approximation at highest collider energies
[DESY-25-104]
Collider processes at the highest available partonic center-of-mass energies – 10 TeV and above – exhibit a new regime of electroweak interactions where electroweak gauge bosons mostly act as quasi-massless partons in vector boson fusion processes. We scrutinize these processes using the Equivalent Vector boson Approximation (EVA) based on its implementation in the Monte Carlo framework Whizard. [...]

Search for single production of vector-like quarks decaying into $W(\ell ν)b$ in $pp$ collisions at $\sqrt{s} = 13$ TeV with the ATLAS detector
[CERN-EP-2025-098; arXiv:2506.15515]
A search for single production of a vector-like quark $Q$, which could be either a singlet $T$, with charge $\tfrac23$, or a $Y$ from a $(T,B,Y)$ triplet, with charge $-\tfrac43$, is performed using data from proton-proton collisions at a centre-of-mass energy of 13 TeV. The data correspond to the full integrated luminosity of 140 fb$^{-1}$ recorded with the ATLAS detector during Run 2 of the Large Hadron Collider. [...]

Search for decays of the Higgs boson into scalar particles decaying into four or six $b$-quarks using $pp$ collisions at $\sqrt{s}= 13\,\mathrm{TeV}$ with the ATLAS detector
[CERN-EP-2025-121; arXiv:2507.01165]
A search for exotic decays of the Higgs boson $H$ into new scalar or pseudoscalar particles that subsequently decay into $b$-quarks is presented. The search considers $ZH$ production with several decay scenarios for the Higgs boson: first to a pair of identical scalars, $H\rightarrow 2a \rightarrow 4b$, second to a pair of scalars with different masses ($m_{a1}<m_{a2}$), either directly, $H\rightarrow a_1a_2 \rightarrow 4b$, or via a longer decay chain, $H \rightarrow a_1a_2 \rightarrow 3a_1 \rightarrow 6b$.
